Teach the Skills That Save Lives

Become the one others turn to in an emergency. The PADI Emergency First Response Instructor Course gives you the skills and confidence to teach CPR, first aid, and emergency care to divers and non-divers alike.

About the Emergency First Response Instructor Course

The PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor Course trains you to teach and certify students in primary and secondary care (CPR and first aid), AED use, and emergency oxygen administration—skills that are valuable both in diving and everyday life. You’ll learn how to structure effective lessons, conduct realistic scenario-based training, and evaluate student performance with confidence and professionalism.

This course emphasizes hands-on learning and adaptable teaching techniques, preparing you to deliver engaging, confidence-building classes for divers and non-divers alike. The benefits go beyond scuba instruction—EFR Instructors are qualified to teach safety courses to workplaces, schools, and community groups, broadening your reach and earning potential.
